Jero - Manager

Jero has been with The Shala Bali since its inception and has played a pivotal role in the creation of this beautiful retreat centre. Jero is the first point of contact for our guests & together with her assistant Komang, she will be happy to help you in whatever way  she can to make your stay with us comfortable and memorable.

The Team

In the kitchen - Ayu, our head chef, with her talented crew -Ngurah, Kadek and Komang, will nurture you with delicious vegetarian | vegan dishes. Our head of housekeeping Nyoman, & her team of boys - Rocky, Nick, Komang & Wayan take pride in making your rooms comfortable & sparkling clean. Our gardener Ena & security Wayan & Rai keep the grounds beautiful & safe!

Ria - Yoga teacher & host

Our inspiring Yoga teacher and retreats host Ria first started Yoga as a way to keep fit and healthy to complement her active lifestyle and love of the outdoors. After exploring different styles in her homeland Bali, she found her Yoga niche and spent three years in India developing her practice under senior

teachers. Having experienced profound benefits physically and mentally Ria wanted to further deepen her knowledge of Yoga and before returning to Bali, she completed her 200 hour teacher training and received blessing to teach. Ria receives ongoing training and mentoring with our experienced Shala Bali founders.
